Dr. Spielman founded the current practice in 1984 and has grown it to the busy practice it is today. He is a past President of the Fort Worth District Dental Society, which honored him with the Distinguished Service Award, and has served as Vice President of the Texas Dental Association.
Dr. Peak joined the practice in 1994. He is an active staff member at Harris Methodist Fort Worth and Cook Childrens Hospital, and was instrumental in the formation of the Salt and Light Dental Clinic in Fort Worth.
Dr. Lois was born in Mexico City, and is fluent in English and Spanish. Her philosophy is to provide quality and compassionate care to her patients, maintaining constant communication with the referring doctors.
Dr. Humes was born in Nassau, Bahamas, and later moved to Nova Scotia, Canada. He joined the practice in July 2007. He has a special interest in facial cosmetics (including skin tumor removals, Botox, and chemical peels). He has conducted numerous research and presentations on dental implants, facial trauma and reconstruction. Dr. Humes also speaks Spanish.
Dental Implants
Dental Implants are tiny titanium posts that are surgically placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. These metal anchors act as tooth root substitutes. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth.
The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved. Patients with dental implants can smile with confidence.
