Dr. Robert B. Peak
As long time resident of North Texas, Dr. Peak was thrilled to join Dr. Spielman in 1994 after completing his residency program in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Memphis.
Prior to his residency program, Dr. Peak received his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry and his B.A. from the University of Texas in Austin.
Dr. Peak is an active staff member at Harris Methodist Fort Worth and Cook Childrens Hospital where he has been involved extensively in oral and maxillofacial trauma call service.
Actively involved in community service, Dr. Peak was instrumental in the formation of the Salt and Light Dental Clinic located on Summit Avenue in downtown Fort Worth. Salt and Light Dental Clinic provides dental services for the underserved adult population of Fort Worth. In addition, Dr. Peak provides oral surgical care for All Church Home and Save a Smile organizations.
Dr. Peak’s expertise includes implant and reconstructive surgery as well as corrective jaw surgery. His interests in these areas include bone grafting, immediate implant placement and computer guided surgical implant placement.
He is a founding and active member of the Cowtown Dental Study Club where he presents frequently on current oral and maxillofacial surgery topics.
Dr. Peak has served on numerous committees as well as on the board of the Fort Worth District Dental Society. He is a member of the Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association and a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons as well as diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
In 2005, Dr. Peak was nominated and accepted to the prestigious International College of Dentists. In 2007, Dr. Peak was presented with the Outstanding Service Award by the Fort Worth District Dental Society.
Dr. Peak married his college sweetheart, Natalie, in 1986, and they have been blessed with two wonderful daughters, Megan and Abigail.
